About Gulf Shore Camping Park
In 1970 the Verrilli family purchased the camping park after the original owner died shortly after opening the campground. At that time limited service sites and pit toilets limited the park's use to campers willing to "live with nature". Time and investment have changed favorably the "comfort zone", offering flush toilets, hot water showers, dumping stations and fastidious clean up and maintenance --- living with nature still permitted.
The seven Verrilli children have, during their youth, run the maintenance, coffee shop and cleanup during the Summers until college called. The last, Rocky, starts senior year in high school so the responsibility reverts back to Chris and George soon.
